The simulated ocean survey platform reduces the cost of sea experiments while improving experimental safety, providing services for experimental teaching environments and launching applications.
The simulated ocean survey platform is a virtual simulation experiment system developed for various marine related professional overseas survey courses in China. This system includes two versions: a standalone version without network environment and a network version developed based on B/S architecture. Through this system, the cost of overseas experiments has been reduced while improving experimental safety, providing services for experimental teaching environments and launching applications.
The simulated ocean survey platform consists of four modules, namely ocean survey knowledge learning, instrument operation guide, ocean survey training, and data analysis. Among them, the learning of ocean survey knowledge includes the introduction of ocean survey simulation experiments, learning of ocean survey knowledge, visualization of global temperature and salinity currents, visualization of physical fields in the South China Sea, and assessment of ocean survey knowledge; The instrument operation guide includes two parts: the instrument laboratory and the instrument operation knowledge assessment. The instrument laboratory includes temperature and salinity depth meters, Andra current meters, acoustic Doppler current meters, hydrophones XBT、 The principles and operations of various marine survey instruments such as tide gauges and SVPs; The ocean survey training includes three parts of observation training: large-scale station observation, continuous station observation, and deep-sea submersible marker observation.
