Equipment parameters:

  • The system mainly includes the sink body, towing system, water supply system, measurement system, experimental model, etc.

  • Main body of the water tank: The experimental water tank is 5m long, the system is 1.5m wide, and 1.5m high. The glass water tank is 4.5m long, 1.5m wide, and 0.5m high. The water tank is supported by stainless steel and has instrument placement holes reserved at the bottom.

  • Dragging system: electrically controlled, with a towing stroke of 3 meters and an adjustable towing depth range of 0-300mm; The towing speed is continuously adjustable from 0-1m/s.

  • Water supply system: Customized dual cylinder system that can generate two layers of fluids with different densities.

  • Measurement system: including horizontal PIV measurement system, digital schlieren measurement system, etc., it can perform high spatiotemporal resolution flow velocity and density disturbance observation on the flow field, and combine with the analysis system to analyze data such as flow field divergence, curl, shear stress, and density disturbance.

  • Experimental model: Customize experimental models, such as ship models, submarine models, etc.

The equipment size, towing range, and experimental model can be customized according to requirements.
