Equipment parameters:

The system mainly includes experimental water tank, surface wave generator, internal wave generator, wind system, flow system, water supply system, measurement system, experimental terrain, etc.

  • Main body of the sink: The experimental sink is 25m long, the complete system is 3.3m wide and 1.8m high, and the ultra white glass sink is 20m long, 1m wide, and 1.2m high.

  • Surface wave generator: adopts a push plate wave structure to generate regular waves and random waves. Two dimensional regular waves mainly include cosine waves with different periods and wavelengths, and can add Stokes waves and other regular waves; Random spectra include B-M spectra, P-M spectra, JONSWAP spectra, ITTC spectra, and user-defined spectra. Any two or more sets of spectra can be selected and overlaid to generate additional spectra while preserving the expansion space of other spectra. The wave making period is 0.5-2 seconds, and the wave height can be adjusted from 0-20cm. It is equipped with wave making software, which has a friendly interface and is easy to adjust. Equipped with wave attenuation device.

  • Internal wave generator: produces internal waves with an adjustable period of 8-20s and a wave height of 0-10cm. And equipped with wave making software, the software interface is friendly and easy to adjust. Equipped with wave attenuation device.

  • Wind system: generates wind and waves, with a system power of 6kW. The wind speed motor is equipped with a variable frequency adjustment device, and the wind speed can be continuously adjusted from 0-10m/s.

  • Flow generation system: generates circulating flow, with a system power of 25kW, equipped with flow generation software, and adjustable flow rate from 0-1800m3/h.

  • Water supply system: Customized dual cylinder system, capable of producing seawater with two layers, linear layering, and equal density.

  • Measurement system: including split PIV system, wave height meter, pitot tube anemometer, rotary plasma flowmeter, etc.

  • Experimental terrain: Customize terrain according to experimental requirements, such as ridge terrain, shelf terrain, coastal terrain, etc.

  • The equipment size, measurement system, and experimental terrain can be customized according to the requirements.
